Viewing scanned drawings

The scanned drawings are displayed in the Drawing Browser window, as they are read in from the scanner:

By each frame is an area containing information about how the frame is registered. The information shown for each frame is, reading from left to right:

Level name (e.g. 'A')

Level numbering (e.g. '1')

Processing stage (a circle)

When the circle is unfilled, the frame has not been processed.

When the circle is filled, the frame has been processed.

Pegging (e.g. 'A' peg).

Number of Frames

The Number of Drawings section in the Drawing Browser window contains information about the scanned images:

Total - the number of drawings in the level.

Unscanned - the number of drawings that still need scanning into the level.

Processed - the number of drawings that have been processed, using the Image Processor application.

Painted - the number of drawings that have been painted, using the InkPaint application.

Test and Draft display modes

The display mode buttons let you see different views of the scanned image:

Test mode shows the scanned image.

Draft mode shows the final version of the image. It includes any parts of the image which are transparent; these are usually shown as a grey background for line drawings.

Move Selection To

The Move Selection to field can be used to alter the ordering of the scanned images. This is typically used when you wish to add another image to a previously scanned level.

Edit pegging

The Edit pegging menu option enables you to register your scanned image to a new pegbar or to a new numeric position. For more information, refer to Editing the pegging information.
